Apps not downloading

I just stated using my new 16gig 3G yesterday. Got most stuff loaded but I can not seem to download the apps. When I click on an app to download it asks me for user name and password under the "enter account info" screen. I enter my e-mail and password and then another screen pops up saying "additional security information is needed". I hit "update security info" and it brings me to the apple site to log in and I log in successfully every time but it still will not let me download the app.

What is it I'm doing wrong???

HELP!
