So I just got my new 12 Pro and as I’m opening apps for the first time I’m surprised to see that there’s quite a few that aren’t optimized for this phone. They look like the version you’d see on the iPhones that don’t have Face ID (letterboxed).

Is this a developer issue or is there something I need to do in settings?

here’s a screenshot taken on my 11 Pro Max and one on the 12 Pro for comparison:

Update: this issue only comes up if you have Display Zoom turned on. Once I turned it off, apps fill the screen like they’re supposed to.
