Both my iPhone and iPad don't seem to be syncing apps properly.

When I go to the iTunes Sync page on my iPhone or iPad, the list does not include apps, it only lists "Books, Movies, Music, Photos and Podcasts"

Plus whenever I am in iTunes and click on an app to install, it immediately removes all apps from the usage bar. The weird thing is that even though it removes all apps from the usage bar it actually doesn't delete them, and the next time I plug in my iPhone or iPad the apps reappear in the usage bar.

The concern I am having is that are my apps being backed up, even though they are not displaying as being synced to my iOS device (even though they are)?

So if anyone knows how I can fix this, that would be great.

Cheers
