Apps not updating

I am having to uninstall/reinstall apps when they are updated on an Apple tv 4k. If I bring up the app and click on update, it just spins without ever updating. I am wired with a gigabit fiber connection. I am not having any issues with streaming of anything....just updating. Thank you in advance for any help ;)
