Apps on iPad Pro

Question regarding iPad apps on the iPad Pro:

Will there be issues with apps having to be updated for iPad Pro? One of my main annoyances as a 6 Plus / 6s Plus owner (although more and more apps are being updated) is that a lot of apps are still not optimized for the bigger screen and look stretched out and awful. Will this problem exist on the iPad Pro as well?

I would think this will mainly be a problem on the free apps. Paid ones should be updated quickly.
