Apps Partition in Storage Makeup rising excessively

Hey Guys,

Under System Info in the Storage Tab, my Apps partition has been rising excessively over the past week. I just got my Macbook Pro w/ Retina about two weeks ago, and this week the Apps storage rose from 4GB to over 20GB. I did install Chrome, but uninstalled it due to heat issues and made sure to delete all of the folders that came along with it.

Specs:
MacBook Pro with Retina Display Mid-2014
2.6 Ghz Intel Core i5
8GB 1600 Mhz RAM
128GB Flash Storage

Do you guys know of any fix or why this might be happening?

What does it show if you select the main Applications folder in Finder then hit command-i to bring up the get info window. There will be a folder size entry at the top there (it may take a minute to calculate).
