Using Logic Pro, I'm seeing a big drop in performance under leopard as compared with 10.4, in some cases only being able to run half the plugins.

Has anyone else seen this with Logic or other apps? Are apps running the same, better, or worse under the new OS? I'm trying to figure out if the problem is specific to Logic or if the OS is generally worse for CPU use.

Adobe Photoshop CS2 appears to run a lot faster for me on Leopard than it did previously. :)

Good to hear, thanks for the info. Do you know if anyone has done 10.4 versus 10.5 benchmarks with PS or any other apps?

Motion 3 seems faster to me but I havent compared extensively, could be my imagination I suppose.

The Geekbench chaps at Primate Labs have done a bit of basic testing on Leopard vs. Tiger benchmarks. Interesting results.
