I noticed that apps take a really long time to download and update. I know it's not my Internet connection because web pages load fast and downloading apps on my iPhone from the same connection is very very fast.

Is it because iPad apps are bigger? I guess that would make sense but >1min on the iPhone vs. <4mins on the iPad just doesn't seem right?

I ran across a page on Zite talking about an app sale, and I noticed that, too. I was wondering if it was because everyone was hitting them at once, or if the apps (one was the new game used to show off the better graphics at the ipad2 announcement, it was $.99) were bigger.

The App Store has been a little wonky the last couple of days, normally, speed and reliability are the norm, where lately I'm experiencing what the OP is...

Anyone else still having this issue other than me?
