Shazam has utilized the feature as well. Makes for quick and easy song identification from your home screen.

Personally I think a list of just 3rd party developers utilizing 3D Touch would be more useful but nothing wrong with including native apps if it works for people. Also possibly a brief description of the options that 3D Touch brings to the apps. Would be happy to help

Yep, this was one of the biggest gripes from professional reviews about 3D Touch. It's a neat feature but it also requires a lot of exploring, which many people might give up on.
