I know Fring does on the I4, but I almost never connect when I want to. Does the Skype app allow video calls over 3g? Any other apps accomplish this without jailbreaking the phone?

Thanks

Forget over 3G, we don't even have any that do wi-fi. Skype, Google, AIM, where are you?

Skype annoy the hell outta me. They are big.. they should be able to roll out something unique a lot quicker than they are.. they still dont have an android app! somethings fishy with skype..

p.s Facetime is a purely apple term. Fring does have video chat capability from within its app but i dont think it uses the same technology. you wont be able to apple facetime call a fring user. But the thought of that being possible is quite exciting. facetime calling any mobile or PC user.

i doubt that this is a developer issue, probably more of whether or not apple will allow it.
