Hey all, I m new to mac (just bought a new MBP) And I received a 100 gift card for app store and I was wondering if I should wait to purchase any apps for Lion to come out. Wasn't sure if there would be any computability issues between old apps and Lion.

I'd hold off if it's a less-popular app, since those do run the risk of never being updated, but popular apps for the most part should be updated shortly if they aren't already.

I have a gift card as well, and my plan is to hold off until Lion is released.
