iPod touch Apps?

Are there any offline apps that convert speech to text or read the text that we type out loud? thanks in advance

vox 3000 does text to speech, and dragon dictation does speech to text

i have got dragon dictation but when i open it, it say "no internet connection" so i think it is an online app that need internet connection.

That's right, Dragon doesn't do the translation on the iPod/iPhone. It transmits the spoken message to servers somewhere that do the translation, then send the text back to your device, so you need a data connection.
