AppStore always requesting a password

My iPhone 3GS keeps asking me to log in in to App Store every time I open it to browse.

I've checked to see if there's anything pending on download on iTunes. I have synced it and its up to date with the software but I cant see anything waiting. I re-installed all the apps I've recently downloaded (from the apple emails etc) to see if Ive cancelled one by mistake but still no luck.

Any ideas please?
