AppStore Listing Old Apps

Try downloading Weather Channel Max (paid version). It'll download the old version for some reason. Once you have it installed, go back to the App Store and check Updates. It'll have an update for the app you just installed!

Why?! Can't it just install the new version to begin with?

Is this happening with any other apps? I rather not pay money to test this out. I have been having issues myself with the App store though.

I don't know if it's just this app or if it's affecting other apps, too.

I definitely don't like the new AppStore. It goes against Apple's minimalist and elegant design principles.

That might explain why I had to update 'find my iPhone' five times yesterday. I assumed it was just a glitch with everyone upgrading.
