i'm planning to update to ios 4, jailbrake and unlock tonight. i was just wondering if theres a way to get all my apps back onto phone after ive done this. cant find an appsync package on cydia for ios4.

its not a big deal if i cant. i'm getting the iphone 4 on thursday just wanted to have a play around with ios 4 before i get it :D

There's an appsync for iOS4, it's in the same repo where you get the big "I".
 
also can i do a "cydia backup" so when i update i can install all the packages ive got from cydia at the moment?
 
Not sure if it's possible, but since there is still a fair amount of stuff on repos that are not iOS4 friendly, it would be best to start completely new instead of ramming a bunch of broken apps on there

thats what i was thinking. i'll just make a note of all my winterboard themes etc and re-install them. thanks for the quick reponse.
 
one last question, do i need itunes 9.2 to do the jaibrake? think i'm running quite an old one.
