apptapp - Installer.app timing out

Hi,
Ive got an unlocked, activated and returned to jail iphone.
i stupidly deleted installer.app via iNdependance, and then reinstalled a new copy from the site, it installed fine using 1.0.2 firmware
but for some reason when attempting to install anything from it, i get downloading package at the bottom then it fails with error Download Failed: Timed out! after about a minute
i have wifi connected to MBP, which has internet connection sharing on (safari on iPhone works fine).
this worked fine before i reinstalled it. can anyone advise what could be the problem with installer.app not getting through?

mmm works for bsd download but not any other program, anyone getting this issue atm? is there a server down or somthing? just seems to be non-nullriver software sourced programs e.g. iTorch etc...
anyone know why i cant get through to these sources
also i cant seem to ssh into my iphone any more, just says connection failed in cyberduck, would this have anything to do with it?

ok did a restore via itunes, reactivated. installed apptapp and now it just hangs when refreshing the program list. anyone?

Try rebooting the phone. And make sure WiFi is properly configured.

download it.. it's going to be zip file.
change the files extension to pxl and install it.
