After installing snow leopard, I realized apptrap is no longer compatible. Does anyone know of a free alternative for a uninstall tool?

Thanks

AppCleaner is a free alternative and you can set it to monitor you trash like AppTrap did, although I don't know its compatibility with Snow Leopard.

As far as I can tell it works perfectly. Been using it with SL for 4 days, no issues.

I use Appcleaner too.

Due to some unknown reason, I never got the trash monitoring for apps running and have to open Appcleaner for app removal, to search manually for the remains in the system.

What did I miss?

You have to enable it in the preferences, by default its off, it's called SmartDelete.

Yes - SmartDelete is running but it never worked.
Dragging an app into the trash always only resulted in a deleted app - the remains were left on the system.

Searching for the app and then deleting it within appcleaner works though.
