yeah, this was reported on slashdot. Funny how the article says "Apple announced today...", oh really, nothing on the Apple main website about any such device.

I just realized it would be an AWESOME stunt if Apple actually DID have some kind of HUGE release today -- like 3.3 GHz PowerMacs or something -- and everyone wrote it off as an April Fool's, but the next day Apple is just like "seriously -- it's for sale, right here"... I would imagine they'd get some great publicity out of something like that!
If only they released something like a quad 4-5 GHz G5 with a terabyte HD, 16 gigs RAM, a 16x superdrive, and a 30 inch aluminum display. Now that would be a serious publicity day once tomorrow rolled around and it was still on the main page ready for pre-orders.
