Has anyone used this yet? Is there a better solution?

Im not sure if im reading this right, but it says - backup cydia to itunes (hidden folders i believe, thats fine) but then says restore & backup again?

Whats the correct procedure using this? Do you need to do a full restore after backing up?

i just downloaded openbackup.....it will save your cydia apps and tweaks to a zip file that you can send to icloud, or transfer to your computer (which is what i did)

Do you just plug iphone into computer and then...
I have a mac, it doesnt show iphone folders - just itunes..

How would i copy the file to the computer? Or does it just backup in itunes?

By the way L)VE your pic ;)
Ive got the Tom custom spaceman painting hanging on my living room wall, looks awesome.

Within itunes do you access the file though?
Or do ineed to run that terminal command to see iphone on desktop & access its folders? (mac mini - lion)

Seeing Ava soon in the uk, seen them everytime over here...& blink ofcourse ;) roll on july!

I can recommend PKGBackup. It is a bit pricey for an app (7$ I think), but it has a very good interface and work reliably. Worth the money in my opinion Backs up to Dropbox, or to a huge item in your contact list - Dropbox is recommended. On top of backing up all your jailbreak tweaks, it can also back up strange icon layouts, SMSes etc from the standard iPhone apps, and the data from all AppStore apps.

Aptbackup is HORRIBLE! I've never gotten it to work properly. It always removes my paid apps and screws up my Cydia ones. No idea why this thing is at the top of Cydias list. :/
