As Far As I know
As soon as you plug in the network cable, wifi is automatically disabled.
You can try and have both working by going to settings,general, network wireless in your ATVs menu, but I don't think you can have both at the same time.
You could connect your ATV to a wireless router, but that kind if defeats what you are trying to do anyway.
