Is it really not possible to add Aqara U300 smart lock to HomeKit with my Apple TV 3rd gen (no Ethernet)? When I try to add it to HomeKit, it sees my Aqara U300 smart lock but just keeps saying "connecting". I thought I could at least add it to HomeKit but no remote control. I guess I will have to wait for the new Apple TV to come out in order to add it to HomeKit.

Either a 2nd gen Apple TV 4K (2021), 3rd gen Apple TV with WifI (2022), a HomePod Mini or a 2nd gen HomePod can act as a Thread border router. My advice is to wait to see what happens later this month (new Apple TV 4K, new HomePod mini) - either get one of these or look to pick up a second hand device from the list above. You'll likely find that a HomePod Mini (or a second hand Apple TV 4k with Wifi) will cost less than a Aqara M3 hub and offer you more functionality.

I have a Arora light bulb and it won't work without a Arora hub. You can get the m100 for now and it'll work The m3 is on sale on Amazon currently.
