Hi,

I recently downloaded the program araxis (it finds duplicate files on your computer) and I ran a full search on my harddrive, it showed up with a ton of duplicates. However most of the duplicates were gif and bmp files that were pictures of icons used for different programs. There were also a lot of printer and htm/html files and pages. Is it safe for me to delete these and just keep one of each? there are about 20 - 30 copies of each of them.

Leave well alone or the next question will be how do I get the icons back on my Applications? or reinstall my Mac?
