Ok so I have had a real issue with airport for the last week... it started where airport would be connected to my router.. but I would have to wait a further 2 mins sometimes longer before an internet connection would work.. (I used to be able to turn the macbook pro on and click safari right away and get internet access)
This was annoying but it started getting worse... to the point now that airport says I am connected to my router. but I have no internet access... (I have tried wiping my router to default... reset it everything and didnt put a key on just to test if that was the prob) this hasnt helped either.
I have posted about this a couple of times with an answer to "delete 2 cached files" but I dont know where these files would be... and I had no response after asking the poster.
So im backing up now with time machine, I was wondering if I use the archieve and install method when I insert the leopard disc will it just replace the system files? or will I lose all my installed apps etc?
