Archive and Install and 3rd Party Programs.

Ive never done an archive and install on my mid2010 macbook pro running 10.6.8. I've heard conflicting answers about 3rd party applications being affected. I was wondering if I could get a solid answer.

Are 3rd party applications, like word for mac or photoshop going to be removed when I do an archive and install?

Under no circumstances will applications be removed. They might lose their registration / activation, though.
