It's been awhile since I've had to install a new OS and I'm a little rusty in this area.
My recollection is if I do an Archive and Install w/ 10.5 and don't select the "Preserve Users" option I will lose all of my prefs, emails and other info tied to specific users. Yes?
However, if I do use the "Preserve Users" option any issues I had with specific user files (such as not being able to connect remotely to a home folder from another machine on my LAN) will be copied over. Yes?
If that is true is there a way to set up a new user file and then selectively import data (like email) from the old user file to the new user, while leaving behind user system prefs.
