Hi all,
I'm about to undertake a huge project. I want to make some home movies out of about 5 years worth of raw footage.
It's not the creation of the movies that concerns me, it's the storage. I understand that iMovie doesn't allow working from NAS drives, no problem. I have a small SSD drive in my MBA and I want to create the movies from the SSD, but then archive the footage and projects to a NAS. Can this be done?
I don't expect to access the footage and projects once they are on the NAS, but if I need to make edits in future, could I simply move the folders back to the internal drive?
Many thanks
