Every zip I download gets moved to the trash. No matter if I change the options in the archive utility thats in core services. I dont know what else to try. Anyone else having issues? Seems like my changes wont stick. I made the changes and even reset safari and restarted everything and still nothing. Im using a MBP late 2011 on OSX 10.8.2

I have other issues with Archive Utility where it crashes or takes a very long time to unzip some files that may not have been created with the Archive utility. As for your issue, you could trash the com.apple.archiveutility.plist file in your user library and set your preferences again.
