Okay I download a file. Ends up giving me multiple files that I think are already decompressed?
Because extensions are: .r01 .r02 etc. Like 20 of them.

Do I compress them and burn? And if so, do I change the file extension to ISO for Burning? Btw mounting is a prob for me too, havent had success on that part. Tired of my games getting scratched up :( so much. && Last thing is Disk Utility Settings, such as Rapair, Convert, Save As New Image ( ALOT of settings there)

Please Macccitymacers, help.

Those files are part of a RAR archive and you need The Unarchiver or UnrarX to decompress them first. Either click on the .r01 or .rar file to decompress them with one of the applications I mentioned.

Shaaa I had The Unarchiver just today and it would make a mess. It would switch their extensions and make copies if I clicked..

Thanks fer takin the time to reply dude.

EDIT:: I only need to click on one with the RAR or all?

I don't know why it would make a mess, I never had a problem with split archives with it.

Anyway, if your files are looking like this:
file01.r01
file01.r02
file01.r03
file01.r04
file01.r05
file01.r06
file01.r07
then click on the .r01 file.

file01.rar
then click on the .rar file.

Hmmm.. One is file.gcm all others are file.r0#
So I "UNRAR" .gcm and what do I do with the others?
