I would like to know the best way to archive raw photos that come directly from my camera into iphoto. I would like to create albums with selected, editied photos from a specific "shoot" but would like to keep all of the originals intact in case I need to go back to them for whatever reason. Can this all be done in iPhoto? I am sure many others out there archive their original photo albums and I would be curious to know how they do it/ how they mange their digital images.

Thanks!

When you edit a picture in iPhoto, it automatically saves the original too. If you right-click an edited picture in iPhoto, the last choice it gives you is "Go back to the original". I'm not sure this applies to RAW pictures though, but you can try it once and see if it works.
