Can anyone recommend a way, preferably with just OS X tools, to archive about 100gb of data onto a series of DVDs? File sizes range from 1k to 2gb and I'd like to maximize disc space usage. I guess I'd consider some freeware/shareware tools if there is a good one for this job.
 
Is getting a hard drive really not an option? Unless you're using DL discs, this is going to end up taking you 20-25 DVDs... that's such a waste of your time. Not to mention how inexpensive basic external drives are....
