Can anyone confirm or know if all orders made on Apple.COM are shipping from China, or if some are already here and coming from US?

Past experiences? I've never launch day ordered an iPhone so I don't know what usually happens?

Some are probably already located in the US at distribution centers (not scanned yet) and some are probably coming from the factory in China due to additional orders (scanned).

I would guess China. No need to inventory phones in the US with such a successful distribution system already set up to ship direct to you from the factory - however they could have I suppose. It makes no sense to do this though and pay shipping twice.

Thank you.
my god this isn't Apple/UPS/FEDEX/ATT/Verizon/et al's first launch (maybe sprint but still). Calm down peoples, you'll get ur gear!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

My wife's shipped from china and is in Alaska. My order shows as still processing.

Mine's coming from Southaven, MS, and is already in Georgia.

Coming from southhaven,ms? Hmmm I actually had a job there today. I'd guess mine would come from there as well since I'm in Mississippi. I'm confused though why it would ship from southhaven though?
