Are all ATT phones shipping Oct 16-23?

That's pretty frustrating that phones ordered later have an earlier shipping date.
I just cancelled my Apple order that was supposed to ship 9/25. Ordered via ATT to renew my contract and it states item backordered and shipping October 16, 2015 - October 23, 2015. Does anyone else who ordered around 3-4a.m. having this message?
That's the confusing part. I was monitoring the iphone ordering thread and the shipping dates fluctuated with no apparent pattern.
It's possible, AT&T pre-shipment estimates are usually not very reliable. It's very possible people will receive their orders earlier than that estimate.
I placed my order with AT&T this morning shortly after ordering opened and I got Oct 16 - Oct 23rd as well. However, mine says "in progress" not "backordered". I don't know if that makes a difference.
It's not like people are jumping the line. It just has to do with how much stock of each model/capacity was promised to AT&T. So if they made more of my phone than yours but I ordered after you I still might get it earlier.
I don't know about 6s+, but my 6s (128 Gb, grey) still shows a Sept. 24 ship date -- ordered at 11:45 a.m. EDT on Saturday.
I think most of the oct dates are for the 6s plus rose gold 64gb/128gb. I got to the confirmation page at 2:58 and it showed oct 16-23 but due to an error I had to start my order over and couldn't get it in until 3:30 and it showed the same date.
Someone on the preorder thread had their date changed for their 6S plus to 9/24. They had issues with their order and AT&T had to re place the order!
Our ship dates for the 6s in our system tells me they are ALL launch day delivery. All of the 6s Plus models range from 15-30 days. They are all ranging.

They build less plusses. I think they said for every three 6es they sold they sold one 6+.
I'm having high hopes that everyone who ordered around 3am or later will get it on launch day... Unless AT&T lied and emailed an ad the other day saying "Be first to get the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Pre-order at AT&T." I'm sure they have stock of pluses... or they wouldn't have advertised it, and the point of pre-ordering would be kind of pointless no?
i have october ship date for 6S PLUS 16GB GOLD ordered 3:15AM Eastern (12:15AM Pacific) but my iphone is not backordered
If we don't get it on launch day it will be att's fault. because every carrier except att promised 9/25 delivery to all the people who preordered within the first 4 hours on all plus models and even today, one day later apple is still promising 9/25 delivery for the regular 6s, so there is no way that att is the only one without enough phones.
mine was ordered at 3:21 EST with an initial delivery date o 10/16-10/23. I just checked it and it says "preparing to ship," but the delivery date is the same. How can it be in prep for shipment over a month away?
The rose gold comment above isn't for a 6+. Like said before, everyone else has the same delivery time.
