Just to let you know, I have a bumper and back and front screen protector so its not that protective. iPhone 4s
My daughter threw my phone twice, I dropped it 3 times (once on rock), I accidentlay bashed it with a dumbbell (don't ask how), HECK someone even kicked it and flew 6 feet and still perfect.
My wifes iPhone 4s dropped on marble and the back was shattered (screen protector holding it in, still working, waiting for iPhone 5), and she had the same bumper and screen protector.
I know it depends on the force on how you drop it, but it seems like my phone is immune to all my drops?
Maybe the factory pushes the logic board and items tighter than other iPhones?

It really is all about how it lands. I know people who have dropped their phone a dozen times and only get minor nicks.....others drop it once and get a shattered screen.
