I want to reinstall SL on my 15" MBP but I don't have the original disks with me right now (at a different location). However, I do have the SL disk that came with my 2010 13" MBP............... that disk is labeled something like "OSX for 13" MBP".

Can I use this "new disk" to reinstall OSX onto my 15"?

FWIW, the reason I want to reinstall OSX is that the superduper clone (to the SSD) has a long startup pause when booting. I had the same long startup pause on my 13" (after installing and cloned SSD) until I reinstalled OSX over the cloned copy. The reinstall only took ~20 minutes and now the 13" boots in 16 seconds. My 15" boots in around 40 seconds......... similar to the 13" before the reinstall.

thanks

...and most install discs are for one installation only, which means if you have multiple computers, you need just as many different discs.

bonus:
A general response to your thread title: No.
Currently available SL discs should now have 10.6.3 on them. Earlier ones had 10.6.0 (if they even included the .0)
