I currently have an I9 512GB 16gb of ram 2019 MBP 15.4". I got it a little over a year ago. I just had a keyboard replacement not too long ago and whenever you have the replacement on the pros you get a new battery so it only has 8 cycles on it. Love this machine except the heat sometimes. Worth upgrading or keep it for awhile? I also have apple care plus on it.

My current one is 2019 i7 256gb 16gb. Battery has degraded to 86% health at the 20th months, which usually lasts about 6 hours for light use (Word, web browsing, Youtube etc). Can't wait to get the Apple Silicone 16in solely for the superb battery life.

I don't think I will. I like my 15" 2019 base model too much. I like that it has a smaller foot print, is lighter, and less thick than the 16" model. I also like that the keyboard has great illumination. It looks better and more sharp than the 16" in my opinion. It gets hot, but to me that just means it's working
