So Mac Pros are built to order and Dell is openning its own stores. Is Apple becoming more like Dell and Dell becoming more like Apple?

If I call Apple support and get a non english speaking person that doesn't know what a cpu is then we are in trouble. Until then apple is nothing like dell.

I don't think dell will ever become like apple as microsoft will become apple.

the configurations on the mac pro are for pros that want to be more advanced, or have a specific need. I suppose!:D

Yeah, but apple support assumes you are a five year old with the brain of a stapler..

Eh? Other Mac computers (including the Powermac) were built to order too, don't see what point you're trying to make?

Annd Dell has some sort of weird idea with their stores that I don't understand at all. They want to open a store with no inventory, you go to the store, look at the stuff, and then order it at the store and then it ships to your house. Right.
