Are apple stores selling no commitment iPhones?

I'm real sorry if this has been discussed a million times by now, but I need a quick answer before I decide to head out to the mall tonight. I've tried google and searching this forum with no luck.


Does anyone know if Apple stores are going to let people buy more than one phone, and at no commitment price?

I'm planning on buying one with my upgrade price, and one at no commitment price, but I'm still not sure if they'll let me do this. One of the threads I found had a guy who called his apple store and told him they weren't selling iPhones at no commitment price on launch day.

Please does anyone know for sure what the deal is?

As of now you have to be extending your current contract or signing for a new one.

i have one reserved at the 399 price for tomorrow. i asked if i could just buy at no commitment at 599. i was told by 2 different people that i couldn't.
