I've had it for quite awhile (1 1/2 years maybe...), but I have barely ever used it. Today I picked it up again, tried to use it, and nothing happened. I put new batteries in - same result. No green little light, nothing at all. Dead.

Is this a known phenomenon? It's unfortunately out of warranty, so I have no idea what to do here.

Certain number Buttons on my keyboard spontaneously stopped working recently.

Mine is also out of warranty. I have had it a little over a year. Good looking design but i expect more out of a keyboard (and want dedicated number pad) so I will likely switch to logitech next time around.

its easy to fix, I rolled up a small size ball of Aluminum foil, dropped it in the tube, added my three new batteries, and like the keyboard turned on. the problem is the batteries arent making proper contact with the terminal and the aluminum foil solves that.

Wow, that actually worked!

Thanks!
