Hello,

This question came to mind this morning. When you order an AT&T iPhone from the Apple Store Online, is it already locked to AT&T? Or is it unlocked until you activate it? I'm currently with AT&T on my unlocked 5s, and I figure I can just put the 5s nano-SIM in the iPhone 6. While I don't mind paying full-price, it would be nice to get the subsidized price. I'm staying with AT&T (best coverage where I live), but I would really like the iPhone 6 to be unlocked so I can use local SIMS when I travel.

So, is an AT&T-provisioned iPhone 6 already locked when it leaves the factory?

Thanks.
