I know it's a stupid question..
Because you use up battery cycles when you're recharging your phone, so the battery obviously decreases over time.

What are your thoughts on this?

My wife had one on her iPhone 5, and she swore it decreased the overall health of her battery. I've seen at least one thread here where others (including myself) had posted similar thoughts.

I've used battery cases on both my iPhone 4s and iPhone 5s with no problems. If you think you may develop a problem then charge the phone and the case separately.

On my iPhone 4s I used a Mophie case, on my 5s I used a Lenmar case. I'm waiting on a Monbello 4,000 mAH case for my iPhone 6.

Do you have a link for he Monbello

And do they make a battery case for the 6 Plus?

Got one at the Apple Store today and returned it a couple hours later. I do not recommend the clear one. Rainbow effect, slippery, and the lip is actually sharp.

If you go by what Apple tells us about their batteries, it doesn't matter one bit.

Unfortunately I think virtually all evidence is going to be anecdotal. Even comparing a phone that is always in a battery case versus one that is not after a year isn't going to be a good comparison due to usage not being exactly the same. Of course there can also be variances in batteries themselves.
