Hey, I have a quick question. I'm going to be away throughout July and I won't have access to wifi. I was wondering if the next beta like iOS 6 beta 2 would be able to be downloaded via 3G. I wasn't a part of iOS 5 beta's so that's why I'm asking. Were any of their betas OTA and were you able to download them via 3G?

Some were and some weren't.
And there was no order to them either.
USB was followed by OTA and then the next was back to USB.
Of course OTA updates was one of the things being tested during the iOS5 beta so now that it's an official feature, who knows what will happen this time around.

The iOS 5 beta only had about half of the updates as OTA and I can't recall if you can do them over 3G. I think you can if they are under a specified size limit but I can't say for sure.

The beta restrictions shouldn't be any different than any other OTA update though.
