Are jailbroken phones able to update to 2.0?

I heard some people with unlocked or jailbroken phones ended up bricking their phones w/ the 2.0 update. But I also heard that was happening to regular unhacked phones too. Any final verdict on this?

If u update to 2.0 from an unlocked iphone it will become relocked and unjailbroken.
