Are location reminders working on new iPad with iOS 6?

I have tried repeatedly to get Siri to remind me to do something when I leave my current location. She tells me that this device is not compatible with location based reminders ... Has anyone else been able to get their's to work?

the New iPad does not have a reminder's app if you look at the home screen. Therefore, no reminders from siri

Actually it does have the app ... However I figured it out ... Under privacy and location services reminders are not there ... So not enabled in the beta version
