Are Macs Real Estate Friendly?

Hello Everyone,
I got my new iBook a couple of weeks ago and just love it... wi-fi rocks! Now, a friend of mine who just got his real estate license and is looking to buy a laptop and I, of course, suggested an iBook. However he has legitimate concerns about compatibility between real estate apps and macs, and since he doesn't yet know what he'll be using we can't really check. Are there any real estate agents out there who can advise us?

Zip Forms does not work on mac. the Tempo MLS system that the Honolulu Board of Realtors use does not work on Safari, i need to use Microsoft IE.
