Are Maps updated?

So I am shocked we haven't had any map updates yet and there has been no speak of any updates coming to them with iOS 7... Has anyone who used it seen any improvements/updates/differences?

It's terrible. I clicked on a local address in my e-mail and Maps opened to a block in Georgia. I'm in NYC.

New user interface but still the same (horrible) data. I've submitted hundreds of reports for incorrect information for places in my area and not a one has been updated.

Night mode, better UI, etc. tons of updates. Do some research.
