I switch between an iPhone on the latest iOS version and a MacBook on High Sierra.

I’ve been having issues logging in to websites. I was always needing to create a password on Samsung's site until I finally just used the MacBook to access it and never had an issue. I just tried it on my iPhone and my password wasn't working. So I checked the password saved on both devices and they are different. Same thing happened today with PayPal and it's happened with a few others but I'm finally stating to see a trend.

Is this an issue with just using an older version of macOS? Is there any way to sort of correct this? It's annoying for me, I can't imagine how it can be with someone like my older mother who doesn't trust that stuff to begin with.
