If 1.1.1 is no longer unlockable, and every new phone ships with it, does that mean there will be no more unlocked iphones?

I'm pretty sure eventually someone will create a new unlock method but who knows how long that will take...

Not as yet I would give it atleast a week before there would be any iphones which would come with 1.1.1 straight from the store.

so anyone buy a phone since the update, does it come with 1.1.1 or not? :)

the thing is guys is if you have to restore your phone for anyreason like a hack messes up or something happens you will have to restore with new firmware so im sad. My iPhone is on 1.0.2 but i know it can't last forever.

I was under the impression that you can restore to an old firmware just not downgrade to an older version.

Completely untrue. Search for the method to do it properly which is all over this forum.
