Are new wired KB's shipping? Amazon delay...

I purchased a new Apple Keyboard wired version this morning from Amazon using my prime membership (trial). But it says not shipping till Oct 12. I called and they said they just ran out of stock. The woman said they have no way of knowing when they'll get another shipment, so I'm not sure how much stock to put in that Oct. 12 date. She made it sound like it COULD be sooner.

I could order from Apple but they charge $4 shipping and sales tax.

Are these generally in stock now? I basically just don't want to cancel to find out that they've come back in stock at Amazon in a few days.

Just cancel it and order through apple...I'm sure you'll have it in no time. It will be about an extra $7, but that's not too bad IMO.

I waiting for them to start shipping the wireless keyboards.
