Just wondering if anyone has successfully been able to upgrade to the new iPhone over the phone with the website not allowing upgrades to be processed at the moment.

In my attempts to try to upgrade a phone number has come up saying buy now followed by a number for O2.

Anyone had any luck with this?

Read before posting? Or go straight to the source? The O2 website? No?

I have been to the O2 website and have been trying to upgrade for a while now with no joy but I have seen a phone number come up a couple of times saying sorry this is unavailable buy now followed by a phone number.

I realise it says it is an online process but was wondering if anyone had just tried this number on the off chance they would process it over the phone instead.

This was clearly a question for anyone who is trying to upgrade, not asking what does it say on the O2 site.

yup tried the number and you get told to press 1 if you want to buy an iPhone then when you press 1 you get told that you can only order online! They will sell by phone on Friday

Tried that ^ as well as going through one of the other options, but they just tell you it can only be done online and to try this afternoon... farce!
