Are people getting to do an upgrade to iOS 8 on iTunes?

I keep getting a message that my iOS 7.1.2 is the current version.

I know this is usually caused by an over busy server ... but it seems as if people are getting through.

What has been your experience?

iOS 8 is not officially out yet. Wont be for at least another half hour.
